Setting up Fusebox

The manual describes the steps to set up Fusebox External Control on the Sofar EMS.

When setting up this integration, permission is granted to Fusebox to control this battery.

Prerequisites

1. Add the batteries

Login to the commissioning interface and make sure the devices are added to the Sofar EMS.

2. Check the grid power limits

In the settings, the grid power limits should be set correctly. Click Settings and check the highlighted setting in the image. If necessary, adjust the settings.

3. Fusebox Credentials

Fusebox will provide a username/device identifier and password for each new installation. This must be used when adding the external signal driver.

'Fusebox' is now set up on the Sofar EMS.

Set/Modify the measurement update period

If you want to change the interval between measurements to avoid granularity issues you can go in Settings > Advanced Settings and modify :

  • Data reading period : How often the data is read out from the devices. You should set this to 0, which means as fast as possible.
  • Scheduler run period : How much seconds there must be at least between two consecutive control loop executions. Less excecutions mean less data usage, but come at the cost of slower and less accurate control.
